Drawing from Jacques-Louis David's Intervention of the Sabine Women, this piece breaks an army into its core component, the soldier, through the manipulation of a single image. At the center is an abstracted Victoria Cross (VC), the highest military decoration awarded for valour to members of the armed forces of the British Commonwealth.
